I make this all the time. If I only have 5 minutes for breakfast, I just dump this all in a travel container, and then it's soft enough by the time I've gotten to work, checked my email, and refreshed my friendslist.
The hardest part about it in the US is finding old fashioned oats, instead of quick versions.
